Starting a New Youtube Series: “TOP 5- Techno Politics” Video Series

Hello everyone! Hope you’re doing fine ūüôā

It’s me, OfficialPeoples. And in this post I wanted to talk to you about a new project or ‘video series‘ rather- that I plan on starting on my Youtube Channel¬†¬†called “Techno Politics” .

As most of you already know, clear and evidently, I am a HUGE fan of Electronic Music. Although my Youtube Channel caters to audiences of all genres, Electronic Music flows through my veins as I have a much stronger connection to the history of it since childhood. However, being such a die hard fan of this genre has given me alot of insight on the “politics” of Electronic Music.¬†Because we all know that every single genre of music out there comes with a set of politics. Whether it be positive or negative politics. In the HipHop¬†music genre, we had the unavailing, never ending battle of the “Old Skool v.s Nu Skool” and now the “Rap Veterans¬†v.s Nu Wave Kidz” as it aims to build a wall between the new school and old school subgenres of HipHop.

And the same goes on in the Rock music genre and other genres as well.

Now getting back to the point, I’m sure many of you have come across a “TOP 5” video once in your lifetime on Youtube. There are so many articles and videos online catching on to this sort of trend. And you know what, it works! It’s addicting, it’s informative, and it’s catching millions of peoples’ attention online, no matter what niche it falls under.

Whether it be for informational purposes, or marketing purposes. For example: Top 5 Most Amazing Lost Places¬†on Earth¬†or Top 5 Best Selling Video Games. It’s pretty much everywhere on the internet nowadays….

top 5 places

video games

And most of the content creators who make these videos/articles, are usually already quite educated in their niche. So then it dawned on me. What if I made a “Top 5” series for electronic music? ¬†And so it begins…I give you:

TOP 5- “Techno Politics” Series

Top 5 series

Now why in the world would I be doing this? Well first off and most importantly, no one has ever done this strictly for Electronic Music. Well maybe a few¬†vids, but it isn’t as widespread and ongoing. Maybe for other genres, and even then I’m not even sure. But I feel like this concept would give die-hard¬†fans of Electronic Music worldwide a chance to discover amazing new music and artists that they’ve probably never come across before. And of course, these same fans can share with me their top picks as well for me to include in these videos. When it comes to Electronic Music, my brain is an ipod in itself and I can recall hundreds and hundreds of tracks and artists from my memory alone. It is my helpless addiction. My main goal with this is to promote good music and artists (both mainstream and underground) that I feel deserve MUCH more exposure.

Now what would this whole “top 5” series consist¬†of? Here, I’ll give you some examples:

-Top 5 Techno: My Favorite Electronic Music Artists
-Top 5 Techno tracks with the CRAZIEST buildups
-Top 5 Best Ambient Techno Artists
-Top 5 Best Swedish Techno Artists
-Top 5 best Detroit Techno Tracks of All Time
-Top 5 Techno Artists with the best Chords/Ambient Pads

and one for the sh*ts and giggles:

-Top 5 most Heavily used Presets in Electronic Music
-Top 5 Trolls in Electronic Music

and the list goes on and on and on…

You get the idea?!? ūüôā

techno politics

I plan on covering a lot of different topics within Electronic Music. Artists, tracks, ¬†politics, events, hell I may even do studio gear and equipment. All in all, I think it’s a good idea and the perfect concept for those of us who have remained faithful to this genre for so long and want a hub to give and exchange music with like-minded fans. ¬†I will do everything in my power to keep the content interesting, engaging and frequent to the best of my ability. I’ll also include a post here on the blog for each and every video that I upload on the channel. Hope you guys enjoy it! ¬†Thanks for reading ūüôā¬†

Customizing Synth1 VST skin/theme (TO ANY COLOR!!!) *EASY*

Customizing Synth1 VST skin/theme (TO ANY COLOR!!!) *EASY*

Hello everyone!

Hope you are all doing well. I deeply appreciate all the ongoing positive feedback and support for my Synth1 VST Over 25,000+ Sound Presets!!! video. So I decided to share another treat with everyone in reference to the Synth1 VST.

I’ve been using the Synth1 VST for as long as I can remember but it never even crossed my mind that you can actually CUSTOMIZE the Synth1 VST to whatever color/skin/theme of your liking. You can easily accomplish this without having to search the net and download any third-party skins. ¬†How cool is that! I’ll show you an example of this below:

synth1sdds.png
Synth1 (DEFAULT) Theme

dfdfdfd.png
Synth1 (CUSTOMIZED) Theme

So as you can see in the photos above, you can actually customize the look of your VST but easily adjusting a few settings within the VST itself. And I’m going to show you how to do just that!

First, what you want to do is load up your Synth1 VST in your DAW of choice. If you aren’t sure how to how to do this, please refer to my video:¬†Synth1 VST Over 25,000+ Sound Presets!!!¬†and skip to 6:00 minutes.

sYNTH1 DAWWWWW.png

So here you can see I have my Synth1 VST open within my DAW of choice (I have chosen Fl Studio for tutorial’s sake). The next steps will be very simple:

Click the OPT button (as indicated by the ‘red circle’)>

OPT.png

On the popup screen, you will see the settings for the Synth1 VST. We will ONLY pay attention to the ‘red circled’ area in order to successfully customize our VST. Messing with any other settings can cause the VST to malfunction within your DAW.

settings.png

  • “Color Customize”¬†is the section we’ll be working with. Right next to it you will see
(#RRGGBB)”¬†which basically stands for “Red, Green, Blue”. According to a color palate,¬†this refers to those three colors being the main ‘primary’ colors used to create various new colors when mixed together. But in order to customize our VST, we must first use what is referred to as a “color palate”. Click this link to bring up the color picker. www.colorpicker.com
  • color-picker

Many of you will recognize this from software programs like Adobe Photoshop. What this does, is it automatically generates an RGB Color Code for us to input into our Synth1 settings as we move the small circle around to get the color of our liking.

  • Referring back to the SETTINGS window on the Synth1 VST, The “Panel” checkbox is what controls the background color of the Synth1 VST. When it is checked, the background color you have customized for the VST will be shown, and when the box is unchecked, it defaults back to the default color for the Synth1 VST. ¬†The Box right next to it is where we¬†insert the RGB code to change the background color.
  • Below it is the “TEXT” box, which is obvious. It changes the color of the FONT or TEXT on the Synth1 VST.

Now referring back to the color picker, as an example I would like to set my Synth1 VST BACKGROUND color to BLACK. I can do this by dragging the small circle to the black region of the color palate, and simply copying the RGB code that it generates right above it (as shown below):

BLAAAACK.png

Now I must go back to the Synth1 Settings within my DAW, and PASTE that code (080807)¬†AFTER the hashtag into the box. This means deleting everything AFTER the hashtag but NOT the hashtag itself. And make sure the “PANEL” box is checked so our changes are shown! (SHOWN below):

sdadsasdasdasda

Click ‘OK’ and bada bing¬†–>¬†bada boom.

badabing.png

As you can see above, immediately the background color of the Synth1 VST has changed as I have instructed it to. Now let’s change the text! Let’s go back to our color picker and repeat the same process for our desired color for the text. Let’s say in this case, I want mines to be RED (shown below).

REEEED.png

Once again, I’m going to COPY that code (EB220C), and PASTE it back into that box AFTER the hashtag in my settings. (Remember to click the OPT button to bring up settings).

red-changed

Click ‘OK’ and bada bing¬†–>¬†bada boom.

BADASS.png

So as you can see above, I have changed my Synth1 VST BACKGROUND to Black, and my Synth1 FONT/TEXT to RED. If you ever want to change these colors, simply repeat this process by copying and pasting the correct RGB code that it generates. If you ever get your colors mixed up incorrectly, simply UNCHECK both the “PANEL” box and the “TEXT” box and click OK. Then start the process over again.

HOPE THIS HELPED! ENJOY AND KEEP ON PRODUCING! ūüôā

StoryTime: How I discovered Electronic Music *Touching Story*

StoryTime: How I discovered Electronic Music *Touching Story*

Now as you all know, I am a huge, die hard fan of electronic music; which I think is apparent throughout my Youtube Channel. I live, eat breathe and sleep electronic music and I couldn’t possibly imagine a life without it. And this passion that I have for electronic music dates all the way far back to when I was only 5 years old. My uncle who (although he didn’t physically reside in Detroit) was a contributor to the Detroit techno scene in the late 80’s and early 90’s and actually introduced me to this genre of music. When I was a kid, my parents took me to my uncle’s house who was heavily into differents things like comics, video games and anime, gadgets and a whole bunch of other stuff. He was just a big kid at heart. But what stuck out to me the most, is what still lingers in my soul till this day.

The first time I arrived at my uncle’s house, I heard this repetitive, 4×4 groove that I had heard for the very first time. I stumbled through the house to draw myself closer to where the sound was coming from, almost like a game of hot and cold. And when I opened the door to my uncle’s music studio, this is the very moment when my love for Electronic music all began.

I literally had no idea in HELL, what my uncle was doing and what he was listening to, but what I did know is that IMMEDIATELY once I found out the answer, that is exactly what I wanted to do in life. Plain and simple.

When I walked in he was Djing and spinning a widely known record titled “WindWalker” by The Martian which is a techno record released in 1995- which came to be the very first techno record I laid ears on.

hqdefault

As a kid, I could not possibly conceive or comprehend the music itself, I just started dancing like crazy and bobbing my head to the beat! But it brought about an intense feeling of joy inside me. A feeling that I wish I could put more accurately into words, but still feel till this day as an adult when I listen to a good techno record.

“Happy people hear the music. Sad people listen to the words”

Throughout my life, electronic music has not only provIded me with an abundance of joy and euphoria, but it has also provided me with mental stimulation and emotional comfort. During rough times in life such as periods of depression, many people tend to resort to things like heavy drinking, drugs, self-harm or even harm to others. Well for me, electronic music was the band-aid to all the internal scars. As a child growing up and having seen things that no child should see, I instead used Electronic Music to help me escape the reality and transcend to places of pure bliss. And I still do. It was the perfect remedy to patch up broken hearts. It was my drug when I craved that feeling of exhilaration. And I enjoyed the story that was told through each track.

At the age of 14, I had lost someone very close to me which completely shifted my focus since then. My uncle who started out as a DJ, is now in heaven teaching other angels how to DJ. Upon finding out about the news, I was hit so hard to the core and completely consumed with my emotions and sadness.

thinkstockphotos-450153013-jpg-size-custom-crop-866x650

Although I felt very weak inside, this granted me with the engrossing and intense interest and dedication to pursue Electronic music and to define it as my ultimate dream in life. Most of my uncle’s studio equipment was sold off, but my dad let me keep the old-school, 4 channel DJ mixer that he used. The same mixer he used when he played the techno record for me back when I was 5. I still have it till this day and there is no amount of money that could buy it off my hands. And I mean that wholeheartedly. That’s how much the mixer means to me. And on my 15th birthday, my mother knew how serious I was about Electronic Music and Djing. So for my birthday gift, she bought me the Full Producer Version of Fl Studio and the rest is history….

62998_fl_6
“Yay I got FL without a cr&ck, n0w I can maketh badazz technoez.”

Since childhood, I have listened to literally thousands of Techno records. That is not an exaggeration. Most of my life has been spent listening to Electronic music. At times I feel like a human ipod for Electronic Music. I can mentally ring up any track in my head, and play it from start to finish. I tend to do this whenever I am in bored situations or when my surroundings gets very quiet. Over the past 2 decades, I have discovered soooo many talented artists who have all had a beautiful story to tell through their music. One of my most memorable experiences was attending middle school, and having a close friend of mine burning various techno CD’s for me to discover new artists and their music. Thanks to my friend, this is when I discovered my love for DJ Sets that lasted 1 hours, 2 hours or even 3 hours long. Whether it was a techno set, trance set, goa trance, etc.

tumblr_m0udvnaRed1r8a1kho1_500.gif

Speaking of DJ sets, If you were to ask me, “What DJ set changed your life forever?”
I would automatically know the answer without hesitation. This is a DJ set that my friend burned to the first CD that he gave me. The DJ set was Tiesto’s live performance at Energy 2000. When I heard that for the first time, I knew in my heart that my love for Electronic Music would be a life long journey. My fondest memories were sitting in my mother’s car with my best friend just to play that set on the car stereo CD player from start to finish. and just be in “awe” the entire time….haha. I’m just thinking about it now…

During this time, I remember being VERY HEAVILY¬†OBSESSED with trance music. If I could go in a time machine and find my iPod classic as a pre-teen, you would mostly find the classic trance artists during the trance boom of the late 90’s to early 2000’s. From the likes of Tiesto, Armin Van Burren, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyke, ATB, Ferry Corsten, Carl Cox, Sasha and Digweed, Signum, Cosmic Gate; I mean, this is just to name an ABSOLUTE FEW. There is probably well over a hundred different trance artists who I’ve listened to over the years.

artworks-000149603386-3iolb3-t500x500.jpg
“Trance Music started my humble beginnings…”

Shortly after my discovery of various trance artists, I stumbled upon who would come to be my #1 musical influence and inspiration in Electronic Music of ALL time. Which actually happened by accident. I honestly don’t think there is another artist in this world who has amazed me with his work in such a way that I would become so damn obsessed with this human being.

I’m sure we all remember a program called Limewire back in the day. A time when you had to listen to the frustration of your router as you forced it to connect to the internet via DSL. Well, I remember on the shared computer in our house, I used Limewire to download all the music I wanted to my Ipod. But sometimes, Limewire had a tendency to download music that you actually did not search for. I didn’t know if this was a glitch, or maybe it was actually a misclick of some sort. But one day when I disconnected my iPod from the computer after syncing my downloaded music, I was listening to my music as I feel asleep and an unknown artist and song popped up on the screen:

artworks-000001481300-h8vrxx-t500x500
Pryda – “Human Behavior” (2004)

I don’t know who the FUCK this Pryda guy is, but this song is AMAZING. I remember hearing this song and instead of falling asleep, I stayed awake to finish it out haha. Once the song ended, I woke up late in the night to get on my PC and search up the artist. And this is how I first discovered Eric Prydz and his music.

During my Junior Year of High School, I saved up enough money and bought my very first (mediocre) DJ setup that I remember very clearly. I’ll actually provide the picture:

sdsds.png
“The Behringer DDM4000 was actually the best bang for your buck back then, but the Stanton 324’s were cancer wheels..”

It was 2 Stanton c324 CDJ’s and a Behringer DDM4000 mixer. Every single night I would come home from school and practice my ass off how to beat match 2 tracks together, and do cues and special FX, and volume levels and the whole 9 yards. Djing is an art form and there is nothing that amazed me more than the art of mixing various tracks together to tell a story and take the listener on a journey into sound.

Upon graduating from High School, something very interesting happened to me that shed light on the politics of record labels that I wasn’t really informed of before. It was a blessing and a lesson to say the least. But I learned a lot from it.

I remember there was a very popular local Techno Artist and DJ in my hometown who came across my tracks on ReverbNation. Well, he absolutely loved my tracks and found me on facebook via my ReverbNation profile. So he contacted me and expressed his deep interest in my music, and asked if I was interested in doing a skype call. So of course upon hearing this news, I was ecstatic and didn’t think twice about it. Well, turns out, this guy was actually the owner of a major Techno Label based in my city that signs the majority of the Techno artists in the area and it’s still around and growing today. Throughout the skype call he singled out and mentioned one of my tracks and felt that it would be excellent to add on the label, only if I was willing to change the ‘breakdown’ of the track. Even at the young tender age of 18, this in itself put a bad taste in my mouth. Although I was humbled by his kind words and interest in my music, I thought to myself, “I’m the artist, aren’t I the only one who knows how it’s supposed to sound?”

Interestingly enough, after the conversation ended I heard from or spoke to him again. Trust me, it was never out of spite whatsoever. It was one of those things that just came and gone. I just found a bit discouraging how someone would want to sign you to their label, in hopes that you would first change your music to the way THEY would want it to sound. I vowed and made a promise to keep releasing music the way I wanted it to sound without any judgment and wanted to come up with a way where I can provide myself with the freedom to do that. Well, as a result of this occurrence, I did a lot of research and with the help of some colleagues in the music business, two years later I established my very own indie label called “VycVYper Recordings” in 2012.

vycvyper.png
VycVyper Recordings 2012

Over the past 2 decades, I’ve listened to toooons of Electronicic music across different genres. Techno, trance, house, tech house, goa trance, psy trance, drum & bass, progressive house, you name it. I’ve collected various 12″ records that I’ll share in future videos. I’ve also made tons of music myself, but have only publically shared maybe 10-15 tracks (many of which you can find here on my Youtube Channel) and those are older, even though I’ve made close to 100 little projects over the years. But I’m still going!

Djing is something that I would love to get back into and with the way technology has evolved today, Djing is ALOT more affordable and capable of grasping the concept. All thanks to things like Midi controllers and very user intuitive mixing software that makes this all possible. No longer do we have to rely on Spinning Vinyl or having to come up with the funds for expensive CDJ’s. But of course, there are many who still love the more olschool style of Djing which I think is amazing because I’d HATE to see it die out anytime soon (which it shouldn’t). Not to mention, alot of the equipment can be bought with all of these combined into one piece of hardware.

Well with all this being said, I hope to continue on with this long lived dream of mine and I hope to take it to a level that I can reach thousands, and even better, millions. I want to share my musical story with the world. I want to share my memories, my dreams, my pitfalls and rises in life through my music. I want to describe people, animals, and anything else that has been stored in the archives of my memory. I want to make music that invokes emotion and reaches out and touches deep within the soul. I want to make music that makes people spaz the fu*k out and go batshit insane as I play it in a club or a warehouse rave. And when I die, I’ll have a eulogy of music that people can remember me for. Just as every other artist in this world, both living and dead, has set in stone a eulogy for themselves. Every time I sit down and make music, not only is it a mental, aurial and visual experience. But to me, it is also a spiritual experience. My uncle watches over me and helps guide me throughout the music making process. And hopefully one day when I’m Djing in front of a crowd of thousands, he’ll be standing right next to me; the same way I stood next to him when I walked into that room at 5 years old, watching him do what he did best….

The top 5 CHEAPEST, HQ,underrated DAWS! *Hidden Gems* 2016

The top 5 CHEAPEST, HQ,underrated DAWS! *Hidden Gems* 2016

1471450347336

Hello to all my fellow producers!!!

Hope everyone is doing well. So glad to be able to share this post with everyone, as I feel it is VERY¬†important for those suffering from the indecisiveness trap of, “WHICH DAW IS FOR ME?

I think just about every music producer out there has had a time when they were trying to figure out which DAW is right for them. What a freaking dilemma! In fact, if you look across the net; you’ll find a large # of forums analyzing this exact same topic. Many of these forums will conclude that you have to choose the DAW that is most intuitive to you. The one that gives you that sense of excitement every-time you dive in to start a new project. ¬†And brings you the most pleasure as you sit down and let your imagination soar during studio sessions. But more importantly, some DAW’s that are recommended to us can be WAY too expensive which leads to….yup you guessed it….PIRACY.

TeamAir
Team Air – Cracking software like eggs since the 90’s…. ¬†ūüėÄ

I mean…who the hell hasn’t downloaded a DAW from a torrent site in the past because they couldn’t afford a clean version? ¬†I’m guilty and I’ll be the first to admit. When I was 14 years old I taught myself how to produce music after¬†downloading a pirated version of Fl Studio. Now, although it was the incorrect action to take, after giving the software a good test run with many projects, I persuaded my parents to invest in the full version of the software for¬†my 15th birthday.¬†Which ultimately, made me appreciate¬†the software even more. ¬†Since then I’ve enjoyed the ups and downs of Fl Studio through the many updates over the years.

flllll
Fl Studio – My Humble Beginnings…

Now let’s take a quick glimpse at the¬†cost of the more ‘expensive’ DAW’s. It’s no wonder¬†why such things like Piracy exist! Sadly… (not that that excuses it)

Now of course, you should demo the software you are interested in buying and it is strictly recommended that you purchase the full version of the software afterwards. Even it it means saving up some extra cash, or selling items you don’t need. This ensures ongoing support for the companies with future development, maintenance, server costs, etc. And plus, once you start pushing out your¬†successful productions to the public ¬†you’ll also feel more appreciative of your investment. So please, try and then buy…¬†

Now we’re about to get to the juicy part of this post.

“The top 5 CHEAPEST, HQ,underrated DAWS! *Hidden Gems*

Many of you are probably wondering why¬†I’m even mentioning this. Well it’s mainly because I feel like many producers have a tendency to draw themselves towards DAW’s that they see their favorite producers using. And then you run into factors such as, the DAW being too¬†EXPENSIVE, or it being too COMPLICATED/COMPLEX, or it being too CPU HUNGRY, etc…etc…. But what if I told you that there exists some¬†great, durable DAW’s out their, with ¬†high quality sound engines, extremely intuitive ease of use, for a FRACTION of the cost compared to their¬†“arm & a leg” predecessors? Here is a list of the most¬†underrated DAW’s that no one tells you about.

==========================================================================

MuTools (MuLab)  v7.0.47
Release Date- 2006
Price- $50/50‚ā¨
Key Features- TOP-quality uncompromised sound engine, Rewire Master, includes MuSynth, MuDrum, and MuVerb self integrated vst plugins. Extremely user-friendly interface and workflow***
OS Compatibility- Windows and MAC OSX
Extras- MUX Modular-  a high-quality and flexible modular synth and effect plug-in.

MuTools MuLab is an amazing, underrated DAW you guys. It really is. It’s a hidden gem if I do say so myself. I was recommended to this DAW by a friend of mine who also produces electronic music like I do. I gave it a go, and discovered that this DAW is extremely superior in audio quality when it comes to mastering or working with audio bits. It’s a little weak on the Midi side of things, but recent updates has kept my loyalty.¬†This¬†DAW has proven itself to be one of the most promising DAWS out there. And it just get’s better and better.
==========================================================================

Cuckos REAPER v5.23

Release Date- 2005
Price- $60/60‚ā¨ (REAPER is distributed under two licenses as well as a 60-day evaluation trial option)
Key Features-Notation editor, VST3 support, built in script debugger with macro support, video editing, FX automation.
OS Compatibility- Windows and MAC OSX
Extras- Supports 3rd party skins. Something that makes this DAW entirely unique apart from most of the rest.

Man do I LOVE¬†Cuckos¬†REAPER v5.23. I like to refer to this DAW as the little brother of Pro Tools because to many, it favors it. However, this DAW costs a fraction of the price of Pro Tools and is a POWERHOUSE DAW that includes everything your heart desires for your production needs. I personally like to use Reaper for final mastering and tweaking once I’ve exported the .WAV of my finalized track. One of the most unique and special things about Reaper, is it’s support for 3rd party skins. Believe me, there are DATABASES online¬†with skins that you can download and load into this DAW, you just have to find them. How cool is it to produce music in a DAW with a completely different theme than the default theme it came pre-installed with right???

==========================================================================

1471457068165

Renoise 3.1

Release Date- 2002
Price- $70/68‚ā¨¬†
Key Features-Tracker interface and pattern matrix, keyboard mapping, spectrum analyzer, cross platform, plugin support and rewire support
OS Compatibility- Windows, MAC OSX and Linux
Extras- Redux the sample-based instrument and phase sequencer.

Many of you have already heard of Tracker DAW’s, many have not. For those who haven’t, a Tracker DAW basically¬†represents music tracks as an arrangement from a vertical perspective. They were VERY popular in the 90’s and early 2000’s, and have lost popularity since the last decade.¬†Buzz was one of the earliest, most successful Tracker DAW’s to ever hit the masses and is still being widely used today. In addition, Tracker DAW’s also provide a much more faster work-flow compared to a traditional horizontal arrangement DAW. You can very quickly key in notes, which¬†triggers your bit of audio based on where on the grid you enter your command. This is why Renoise is probably the most interesting DAW out there to date. First off, the interface looks very complex and will have you looking like a rocket scientist during music sessions. I remember downloading the demo for Renoise many years back and I just did a blank stare at my monitor LOL. Most times you can download a new DAW and quickly¬†figure things out because of your knowledge with other DAW’s. But with Reaper, you’ll be scratching your head. The challenge with this DAW makes it much more exciting and rewarding than the others. ¬†Check it out!!
==========================================================================

1471459484319.jpg

Zynewave Podium

Release Date- 2004
Price- $50/ (Or Podium Free Version with a few limiting features)
Key Features-Extremely clean and CPU friendly interface, object based project structure, customizable user interface, hierarchic engine, recording and editing, surround sound
OS Compatibility- Windows
Extras- Nucleum Freeware VSTi

The good ole’ Zynewave Podium. The most interesting thing about this particular DAW is the fact that it was developed¬†and is still continuously managed by a ONE-man army,¬†Frits Nielsen. The thing I like most about Zynewave Podium is that is is EXTREMELY easy on the CPU. In fact, this could be the most smooth and fluid running DAW to ever exist. I remember downloading the Podium Free version and I was amazed out how clean and smooth the interface performed. From¬†the time tracker line, to the moving of audio/midi clips, everything is just so damn smooth in this software; it’s crazy. Working with this software is like a “breath of fresh air” from all the bugs and annoyances we’ve all dealt with with various other DAW’s. The Midi in this DAW is also TOP-NOTCH. Not to mention it has a very polished finish on the design. This is probably my personal favorite of the list.

N- Track Studio is a high quality DAW that reminds me alot of Prenous Studio One. It’s packed with many great features and you can tell that N-Track has made it a mission to set itself apart from the rest. The fact that it’s cross-platform and can be used on any PC or mobile device, gives it the cake over many other DAW’s. This is actually something that I hope to see other DAW’s moving forward. N-Track studio is a very ‘pretty’ and ‘polished’ DAW and I love the HQ integrated plugins that it comes with. I can definitely see a very bright future with N-Track ahead. Even to the point of mainstream notoriety.

Update: Future plans for the Blog and Youtube Channel

Update: Future plans for the Blog and Youtube Channel

Hello everyone and welcome! I know it’s been a little while since I posted any content on this blog, or even my Youtube channel for that matter. Life has been a tossup of family and personal matters, I’m sure everyone understands. But things are looking up!

First and foremost, I just had a birthday yesterday (August 15th) and am very thankful to have made it to 24 years old! ūüėÄ

il_214x170.890770429_jv9k
I may have turned 24 years old, but really….I’m $23.95 plus tax ūüėČ

Back in May, I uploaded a video titled, “Synth1 VST Over 25,000+ Sound Presets!!! *2016*” which has already amassed over 5,000 views with lots¬†of positive feedback and appreciation.

synth 1 tutorial

It seems like these particular type of videos that I upload are greatly¬†appreciated by the community within this niche. And as¬†I look into video demographics, I also notice that these type of videos are widely shared across social networks and viewed from all over the world. So I want to try my hardest to not only upload¬†more related videos, but to also branch out and perhaps upload videos diving into different topics within this niche. What I mean by that, is possibly ¬†‘review/first look’ videos on gear, software and equipment. Or some “Top 5” videos, or even promotion of underrated artists/ Dj’s and sharing their music on my own channel. ¬†I rarely if ever see videos like these on Youtube, so it’d be nice to start a new trend!

Be on the lookout here on the blog and on the Youtube Channel!

A Treat to all Music Producers: 25,000+ sound presets for Synth1 VST

A Treat to all Music Producers: 25,000+ sound presets for Synth1 VST

25,000+ sound presets for Synth1 VST

INSTALLING SYNTH 1 VST:

Before going any further, for providing you with this treat all I ask is to please give a

quick SUB to the Youtube Channel for more freebies. (Takes 2 seconds) THANKS!

Hello fellow producers!!

Here is the Synth1 VST! But before I share the download, I want to first give thanks to everyone who viewed my most¬†successful video on my Youtube channel titled, ¬†“FREE VST/VSTI/SAMPLE COLLECTION + FL STUDIO TRICK!!”

It has been almost 4 years since uploading that video and it has amassed over 50,000 views. I couldn’t thankyou guys enough as I had no idea it would reach that many viewers, maybe a few thousand at MOST.

As a token of my gratitude I wanted to give back to my subscribers/viewers by providing you all with a treat. Here is a pack of 25,000+ sound presets for the Synth1 VST. No really, the pack literally includes¬†over 25,000+ sounds…

Many of you have probably found this post from my Youtube channel, others from search engines. Either way, I hope you enjoy this wonderful virtual instrument as Synth1 has proven to be one of the top Vsti’s of all time, as seen highly rated across the net amongst the VSTworld.

HOW TO INSTALL THE PACKS:

Synth 1 is a japanese vst created by a Japanese sound engineer named “Ichoro Tada”. ¬†You can download the free vst¬†here.

I’m assuming that you are already a music producer who has installed vsts in the past and you know how to drag VST’s to your computers plugin directory. If not, view my tutorial video here. After downloading, make sure you have dragged the .dll file to your vstplugins database.

The 25,000 presets file can be downloaded @ the link below:
EDIT: I apologize for those who have tried to download the file recently and was met with an error. This file has been receiving a tremendous amount of downloads and apparently, Google Drive can only handle so much traffic on one link for so long. So I have updated a new one! Link should be good for another year.

nbsk/25%2C000+Synth1+Presets.rarOnce downloaded, go back to my tutorial video¬†if you prefer a visual “how to” for installing the soundpacks. Otherwise, view my instruction photo below.

Once finished, you should be able to successfully load Synth1 in any DAW of your choice with all 25,000+ sound presets pre-installed. Make sure to click the
“initial sound” button and then click the “+” sign next to “external (.zip)” to open up your soundbanks.¬†

Welcome to the ProducersDen Blog

Welcome to the ProducersDen Blog

Hello everyone and welcome,

Most of you have landed on this site from my Youtube Channel Page or through random searches on search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.

I started this blog with the intent to share what I know about producing music since the age of 15 (Now 23). I also run an indie record label called “VycVyper Recordings” that I started with a friend of mine from Sweden in which I publicize my independent releases. Many of you know that I am a die-hard fan of Electronic Music and this is what I mainly produce, however, this site is aimed towards producers of all genres. You will also find many free “goodies” on this site that will help aid you in your music production journey. From truck loads of samples to houseloads of Presets, and all kinds of other stuff. You might even find articles where I express my concerns on various topics related to the industry of Electronic Music.

Hope you enjoy the content nonetheless!
